Crypto DCA Calculator – Calculate Your Crypto Investment Returns
How to Use a Crypto DCA Calculator
Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is a simple investment method where you invest a fixed amount at regular intervals instead of putting all your money into the market at once.
A crypto DCA calculator can help you understand what a regular investment strategy could look like under a selected price scenario. It lets you test different amounts, time periods, crypto prices, and fees before making an investment decision.
DCA Calculator
See what regular, fixed-size crypto purchases could be worth, and how they compare with investing everything on day one.
You buy at the start of each interval. The number of purchases is duration × frequency, rounded down. Leave the fee empty for 0%; it is added on top of each purchase.
Enter your purchase amount, duration, start price and end price to see the result.

What is a Crypto DCA Calculator?
A DCA calculator is a tool that estimates the possible result of making regular crypto purchases.
For example, you may decide to invest $100 in Bitcoin every month for one year. Instead of calculating every purchase manually, the calculator can estimate your total investment, crypto accumulated, average cost, fees, final value, and net profit or loss.
It can also compare DCA with investing the same amount as a lump sum on day one.
How to Use the DCA Calculator
Using the calculator is simple.
1. Select a Coin
First, select the coin you want to analyse. Before selecting a coin, check the Live Market Chart mentioned below. From the chart, find the coin you want to analyse and check its current price.
Then, enter the coin name in the Coin field of the DCA Calculator.
2. Choose Your Currency
Select the currency you want to use, such as USD, EUR, GBP, AED, CAD, or AUD.
3. Enter Your Investment Amount
Enter the amount you plan to invest each time.
For example, enter 100 if you want to invest $100 per purchase.
4. Choose How Often You Invest
The calculator lets you choose between:
- Every week
- Every two weeks
- Every month
Choose the frequency that matches the investment schedule you want to test.
5. Set the Investment Duration
Enter how long you want to continue the strategy. You can calculate the period in months or years.
For example, you can test a $100 monthly strategy for 12 months.
6. Enter the Start and End Price
This is an important part of the calculator.
Enter the crypto’s Start Price and End Price for the scenario you want to test.
You can use the Live Market Chart below to review the market and select a coin and price range that you want to analyse. After checking the chart, enter those prices into the DCA Calculator.
7. Add Trading Fees
You can enter the estimated fee per purchase as a percentage. This helps make the calculation closer to a real investing scenario.
8. Select How the Price Moves
The calculator provides two price movement methods: Steadily (compounding) and In a straight line.
This allows you to test different price paths between the starting and ending prices.

Why is a DCA Calculator Useful?
Crypto prices can change significantly over time, so investing the same amount regularly can produce a different average purchase price than buying everything at once.
A DCA calculator helps you test these scenarios before using real money. You can change the investment amount, frequency, duration, prices, and fees to see how different assumptions affect the result.
This can make it easier to understand the potential outcomes of a regular crypto investing strategy.
Use the Live Market Chart With the Calculator
Start by checking the Live Market Chart below. Select the crypto or trading pair you want to analyse and review its price movement.
Then choose a starting price and an ending price that you want to test. Return to the DCA Calculator, enter the coin, investment amount, duration, frequency, and prices, and review the calculated result.
This gives you a simple way to connect current market information with a DCA scenario.
Important Note
The DCA Calculator is an educational tool, not financial advice. Its results are estimates based on the prices and settings you enter. Real crypto prices can move up and down, while actual exchange fees, spreads, taxes, and execution prices can be different.
